The International City of Lace and Fashion in Calais dedicates a large-scale exhibition to women’s lingerie.

Key event of the summer season, “Spirit of Lingerie” questions in a new way the existing connections between garments and underwear in the twentieth century. A true economical, historical and cultural patrimony, the lace of Calais today is predominantly used in lingerie. ”Spirit of Lingerie” thus supports the collective interest by highlighting this industrial activity which allowed the lace of Calais to weave its fame all over the world. «Spirit of Lingerie" proposes models realised by (...)
