PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR TOURISM PROFESSIONALS - 2012

SERVICES AVAILABLE

The Visitors Department of the International City of Lace and Fashion has put together programmes of general tours tailored to different visitors (children, adults, school groups, disabled visitors, foreign visitors, etc.). The mediation team is available to answer any special requests you may have. Given the exhibition surface areas and popularity of the museum, it is strongly advised to book a guided tour.

Concerning school groups, three possibilities are available : guided tours, explorations (guided tour + interactive practices in the rooms) and thematic workshops (on top of the traditional tour) which are held in two specially laid out rooms. Direct contact with the teachers is requested to optimise the educational content of the services.

OPENING TIMES

The International City of Lace and Fashion is open daily except on Tuesdays. From 1st April to 31st October : from 10am to 6pm From 1st November to 31st March : from 10am to 5pm (Please contact us for any visits outside of these hours.) Closed : every year from 1st to 15th January and on 1st May and 25th December 2010

RATES

A 20% discount is granted to groups with a "travel agency" accreditation on the rates given below. All group visits will be guided. The "service" rate must be paid on top of the admission rates.

Groups are limited to 25 people per supervisor (tour and workshop)
*Reduced rates are applicable to the over 65s, under 18s and students, job seekers and disabled people.
